We provide the DESMO-J software in different distributions as compiled code and as source code.

  • The core DESMO-J simulation framework without application specific and graphical extensions as source or compiled code.
  • The complete DESMO-J simulation framework as source or compiled code. This distribution contains the DESMO-J graphical experimentation environment and extensions for simulation of production systems (author: Sönke Claassen) and container terminal logistics (author: Eugenia Neufeld), metric unit representation (author: Ruth Meyer) and integrated XML reporting. Note that 3rd party libraries from the Apache XML project (in particular the Xerces XML parser and parts of the Xalan XSLT processor) are required to compile the source code. They are integrated into the binary distribution.
  • An example model demonstrating the graphical experimentation environment as source or compiled code. The binary distribution can be run by double-clicking on the JAR file (in MS Windows or MacOS X) or entering
    java -jar desmoj-2.1.2-demo-bin.jar
    at the command line.

You may also refer diretly to the DESMO-J SourceForge download site.

If you want to get started as quickly as possible we recommend using the full compiled code. You may also browse or download the complete API documentation.

Version History
